Checkmate in 5 is a five-part series of immersive chess tournaments featuring art installations, live experiences, and em‘bodied’ strategy—pivoting across Connecticut and foreshadowing the unveiling of Ashley the Creator’s new body of work and exclusive product release.
There are 2 tiers the contestants who will be competing to win a trophy designed/sculpted by Artist Ashley the Creator. The second tier is general, non-competitive but open to friendly games of chess whenever a chess set it open.
