April’s Filthy Comedy show at Parkville Market will feature the three hosts of the Lil’s Stinkers podcast – Jon DelCollo, Jake Mattera, and Mike Rainey! Considered by some as “the funniest true crime podcast in the world,” Lil Stinkers focuses on some of history’s worst people, who also happen to be very funny.
Mike Rainey • @mikerainey82
Mike Rainey is most prominently known as the co-host of the Dad Meat podcast alongside Tim Butterly. He’s been performing standup comedy for over a decade as well, and is hilarious. Rainey is known for his irreverent and quick-witted humor, along with being the king of bad puns.
Jake Mattera • @jakemattera
Jake Mattera is a Philadelphia-based standup comedian known for his loveable brand of wholesome self-deprecation. He perfectly blends smart and silly on his spiritual quest to make himself the butt of every joke. His hilarious take on marriage, parenthood, work, and daily life highlight the universal vulnerability we share in our most awkward moments.
His debut album, A Soft One, was released by Helium Records and debuted at #2 on iTunes and Amazon. Jake’s comedy is featured on a “Best Of Philly” compilation that—along with his album—can be heard on Sirius XM. He’s performed in sketches on Conan and with the sketch group Gilly and Keeves. His comedy festival appearances include Big Sky, Laughing Skull, Limestone, San Francisco Sketchfest, and HBO’s WICF. Jake was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and Helium Comedy’s Philly’s Phunniest Competition. He has opened for Brian Regan, Dave Attell, and Nate Bargatze, among others.
Jon DelCollo • @jonnydelco
Jon DelCollo is a Philadelphia-based comedian and host of the semi-popular web series, Golden Thrones. He is a regular feature at Helium Comedy Club and Punch Line Philly Comedy Club. Every once in a while, he hosts a live late night talk show at Good Good Comedy Theatre called New Foodz with JDC where he eats basic staples of life that he has never eaten before. Jon was the winner of the 2011 Philadelphia March Madness comedy competition and was a finalist at Helium Comedy Club’s Philly’s Phunniest in 2016 and 2018.
