Parkville Market will present legendary Jazz saxophonist Jimmy Green in a special Holiday Concert on Monday, November 25th, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
A native of Bloomfield, Green has played at many major festivals and Jazz clubs across the United States, Europe and beyond. He will be joined by Nat Reeves, one of the jazz world’s greatest bass players. Like Green, Reeves has toured extensively in Europe, Japan, South America and here in the United States. During his tenure as a Professor at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music, Reeves got to know and mentor numerous up-and-coming Jazz musicians. On Jazz Mondays, he combines this young talent with more established musicians from throughout the region.
This combination of young and old will join in to play at the Jimmy Green Concert on November 25 for a memorable jam session that is expected to last long into the night. There is no admission charge, but patrons are encouraged to enjoy the food and beverages at Parkville Markets numerous vendors.

Jules Posner is a Philly based comedian who has performed all across the country.
Jules has been featured on Jokes.com’s No Drink Minimum and Rooftopcomedy.com’s Road Trip on Hulu. He also performs regularly at SF Sketchfest, is a member of The Business, and was named “not a poser” by Skateboard Magazine’s “are you a poser” quiz. When he’s not doing comedy, Jules enjoys keeping it real.

Kevin McGloin is a NYC comedian that’s been featured in New York Comedy Festival and tours nationally with his show Prohibition Comedy.
